Tshirt was first invented in the 19th century sometime around the Spanish American war. It's a simple piece of clothing usually with short sleeves, collarless, generally made of cotton, having the shape of a T when spread out flat.

At the beginning, they were worn as undergarment, but soon they were made in various colours and patterns and became so popular because they were easily fitted, comfortable, easily cleaned and not costly. Eventually they are worn as general purpose casual clothing with various types of colours and fabics with cuts and styles such as crew neck, V neck, raglan, ringer, tanks and many more.
